USAF LTC, Ret, Martha McSally is running as the Republican, candidate for Congress in Giffords’ old district. If Tombstone is still in it, it seems that Tombstone’s water rights would be a positive issue for her.
I loath Martha McSally based on her actions in the military and the number of A-10 pilots I met who couldn’t stand her. However, I think anyone running as a republican in this district ought to be out trumpeting Tombstone’s water rights.
The west side of Tucson is out of the district, so the liberal hellhole of the UofA And La Raza isn’t a factor. I think most people can understand that water rights that have existed since the 1880s ought to be honored.
