Ammon Bundy said his father’s message “was taken out of context.” The point was that the government “has kept them oppressed,” he said. “They’ve never been given a situation to be able to thrive, get themselves out of slavery.” - See more at:

Any thinking person will realize that MLK's message was one for blacks to rise above conditions that still existed, almost 100 years after slavery ended. What Bundy's statements are (less eloquently, so what?) is that blacks to a large part are still living in conditions that prevent them from rising beyond this new kind of enslavement.

Shame on the "conservatives" who used this as an excuse (a very bad one) to not have to take sides against BLM and federal assaults on US citizens.

A “slight” correction here. In another affirmation of my Tagline, the Times published PART of a Bundy quote. Once again they made the “news” fit their “views”.
Frankly, I’m sick and tired of being correct here.

Look, Bundy is not a pundit. He is not a philosopher or a writer. He is a rancher. He was thrust into the limelight and he gave his opinion. He seemed to be comparing welfare to a slavery. And he (maybe ironically) seemed to intimate that at least slavery kept families together. True or not, I think that it is all blow out of proportion. I mean Hillary once called Dick Morris an "FJB". Where's the outrage there ?

Eric Holder wants a frank conversation on race, which seems to be all well and good until you actually have a frank discussion on race.
