Sounds like Sarah finally cut the tie to McCain. Good!

We water-board our Special Forces and subject our military to ridiculous rules of engagement that are getting them killed. Our soldiers are tried in military court, but we coddle terrorists and try them in our civilian courts.

I don't have any problem with water-boarding them to get information we need to protect ourselves.

Thank you for your response. I appreciate your point of veiw. Look, as Conservatives we have our own opinion of things. The fact is, she will need to appeal to many middle ground folks. Are they going to buy your take on things, or are they going to think back and fail to remember anyone else doing this.

You don’t have to sell me, and you’re welcome to think whatever you want about me. At some point She has to win over folks who aren’t me or die-hard conservative. What then?

Later...

AS I have said to others, I should be able to sign in to some sight and find a detailed game plan on immigration from any candidate I am thinking about voting for.

Telling me that a person isn’t for something, doesn’t tell me or you what they are in favor of.

Please link me to Palin’s detailed plan for fixing illegal immigration. If she wants to be taken seriously for the Presidency, then she should recognize the need to lay out a plan that will remedy the issue.

Don’t just think of me being a pinhead here. It’s okay with me if you take me to be one. Get the definitive answer for yourself.

What does she propose in detail? Link me to it. Saying you don’t agree with the push for Immigration reform tells me nothing.

What does she propose. Pinhead or not, I think I deserve to see something tangible before I sign on the Palin campaign. Don’t you?

Thank you for the post Bratch. I didn’t like what happened to Tom Delay. I don’t like what happened to Palin. So at the end of the day, we can agree on those two issues.

What does that buy you and I? The fact that you and I agree on it, and other Conservatives agree on it, what does that buy us? I’ll tell you what it buys us. It buys us agreement with our fellow travelers. That’s it! That’s all. It buys us nothing else.

How many folks out there have heard of ANY other public figure resigning in the midst of their term? Any guesses? It’s a big fat goose egg, unless we’re talking about a major criminal investigation.

So does this drag Palin down or not? With us, perhaps not. With the general populace, it’s going to hurt. She quit. Whether you and I agree with that or not, it’s what she did.

And so all the spin in the world won’t buy us what you want it to. Folks are going to see here as a quitter.

And realizing how much pressure is on a President, folks will question if she has what it takes.

I may think she does. What does that buy us?

We have Leftists as Republican, Independents, and Democrats. How many of them are buying our take on Palin?

That’s what folks who don’t care for me need to be asking themselves. This isn’t a feel good forum, and this isn’t soft-ball. It’s hard ball event in 2016, and we better realize the dynamics involved.

We can kid ourselves all we like, quitting mid-term is going to contribute to some severe negatives.

” Do we agree with the first amendment or not?”

Oh, I fully agree with it, but then, I’ve read it too. It starts with “Congress shall make no law . . .” It doesn’t say squat about private persons or private forums or personal opinions which might affect those persons or forums.

I laugh at my fellow Conservatives here at times.  If the Leftists are trying to silence us, they are really strident in their support of the First Amendment.  If it's just Conservatives trying to tell other Conservatives to STFU, all of a sudden there is meaning between the lines.  No, actually there isn't.  Does KC_Lion own the forum?  No.  And so it is that he has no reason whatsoever to trash me for bring up a reasoned issue regarding Palin.  He has a right to support her.  I have a right to ask some pointed questions.  That's how it works, and the political debate is what the First Amendment was designed to addresss.  Is it Conservatieve to trash other Conservatives for asking reasoned questions?  No.  It's a non-Constitutional attempt to silence debate.  Was Jim involved?  No.  Have I ever challenged Jim openly on this forum about his right to run this forum as he sees fit?  No.  Was I doing it here?  No.  Any questions?

And before we drift off into 14th Amendment Land, that amendment only addressed individual states. . . again no mention of private persons or forums.

Yawn...  Have your own debate regarding the 14th.  I dont't mind.

So, JR can (if he so wishes) tell you to take your opinions and shove ‘em and he has the keys to this forum so he can enforce his decisions. Other people on the forum (like you and me) don’t have the enforcement ability so we can only point out your apparent lack of education.

Honestly, do you realize what you've just said?  You've just made my case against KC_Lion.  I don't need to say anything more.

Have a nice day.

You too, although I'm thinking it's going to be a little less nice right about now.

Today KC, I have seen Freepers try and argue that we MUST elect liberal Republicans and change them later. I have seen Freepers avoid direct questions. I have seen Freepers try to, a year and a half later, say Romney was a good idea.

So when I see a freeper that cannot automatically and without thought, understand your point, I have to tell you that Skyrim is nice this time of year. Why? because it resembles reality more than the modern interpretation of ‘reality’. And I find myself spending more and more time in it. Not because Libs drive me to it, but because our own side drives me to it.

I see no real difference between one world of fantasy and another.

You're joking, right?

When it came to Sarah Palin, the Left burned the crops, killed everything living, salted the fields, and then sprayed radioactive dust over the whole lot.

I mean, you yourself are spewing their lying venom YEARS later. They programmed half the country about how to think of Palin.

Two worthless posts meant to make yourself feel better, and not address a damn thing worth value.

You folks love to utter the non-stop adoration, but ask you for a concrete immigration policy and you go limp.

I’ve been here since 1998, and I’ve been posting pro Conservative opinions for the whole time. You’re delusional.

Link me to Palin’s comprehensive plan on immigration.

Just post the link to Palin’s comprehensive immigration policy big mouth.

Conservatives should have the right to review the policies of those who expect our support.

Uhhhh, no. I've been here since 1997, and I actually talked to you at one of the events back in the day.

You were coming from a different perspective, but we were both there for a common purpose. I've been cutting you slack all these years, but your recycled Lefty vomit about Palin was just about the last straw.

So watch your tail around me from here on out, you pudgy little whimp. Yeah, I was the really tall guy...

There are a lot of problems with your post sir.

First, YOU came on to this thread with the same old tired bullshit attack you made for years, as if she was a part of the establishment GOPE who wants amnesty. You wanted to recycle the old interviews while she was a candidate or shortly thereafter to "prove" your old ongoing made up point that has been now proven to be entirely incorrect. For you to still be doing that KNOWING she is genuinely against amnesty shows you to be either dishonest, a simple Palin hater or both. I find that more than slightly disturbing, you KNOWING she is against illegal immigration and all its negative ramifications you still came on a thread and pushed your old beliefs, might I add: clearly wrong and made up beliefs.

So, now you come on and move the goal posts. You now say: Please link me to Palin’s detailed plan for fixing illegal immigration

Well sir, that's just disingenuous of you. The only "plans" that are out are from old candidates and old campaigns that have failed, there is no candidate for president yet and you know that. She is NOT a candidate, and neither is anyone else. If you can find one person with a "detailed plan for fixing illegal immigration" who might have presidential aspirations, go ahead, link us to it. Just one. Go ahead, just one. We won't hold our breath.

The point is, you are holding her to a standard that no one meets, yet criticizing her with your underlying premise (false) as if she is still aligned with McCain concerning immigration.

As I said on the day YOU found out YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT ALL THIS: MAN UP, ADMIT YOU WERE WRONG, A REAL MAN WOULD DO SO. So far you have been incapable of a simple apology to all those you browbeat for years about this issue with the same old tired crap, and here you are again. It's like Groundhog Day with you.

Instead you come in to a thread, hijack it, and demonstrate just how unhinged you are about her. Grow up.
