Like I said, go look at what they're saying for yourself. He lied, reneged and then tried to wait out the protests for months. When he tried banning protests and restricting free speech, his own Party began to rebel and so he fled.

A huge number of Russian-speaking Ukrainians then turned on him once they saw just how enormous the guy's house was.

Everyone ended up turning on Yanukovych but a handful of Putinistas on FReeRepublic. And Yanukovych ended up turning on Putin, which Putin's supporters on this site, in their due diligence to keep us all completely and overwhelmingly informed of every favorable Putin twist and turn, have not shared. Now that I share it we can assume that Yanukovych presidency will no longer be the great cause célèbre for Putinistas. Judas had his regrets too, and now Yanukovych is stating his. Whether the Putinista quislings will ever stop supporting a self-serving gangster statesman remains to be seen.
