President Barack Obama said on Saturday the United States did not use its military might to “impose things” on others, but that it would use that might if necessary to defend South Korea from any attack by the reclusive North.
The North warned last month it would not rule out a “new form” of atomic test after the UN Security Council condemned Pyongyang’s launch of a mid-range ballistic missile into the sea east of the Korean peninsula.
Obama and South Korean President Park Geun-hye presented a united front against North Korea at a joint news conference following their summit on Friday, warning that they would respond firmly to any “provocations” by Pyongyang which routinely threatens the United States and South Korea with destruction.
“We don’t use our military might to impose these things on others, but we will not hesitate to use our military might to defend our allies and our way of life,” Obama told cheering US forces at the Yongsan garrison on a sunny spring morning.

The president went on to say, “And if you like your way of life, you can keep your way of life. Of course we have a whole gotta work to do to, uh, improve things but let me be clear—make no mistake about it: I’m tired of having to explain and correct, um, these misunderstandings.
“If anyone criticizes me, we’re almost ready—I not only have my gayboi Army, I have my ‘Special Soldiers’ civilian bodyguard, so, hey—you’ve been a great crowd!”
And a large portion of the troops cheered, while some were heard to mutter, “Gay bois?!” Comrades! It was another glorious triumph for Comrade BB.

I’m sure South Korea heard, “If you like your freedom in the South, . . .” As for North Korea, they probably got the same message years ago.
I cannot believe war has not broken out there again. But we, by our weakness, are inviting it.
The North Koreans know we have the weakest President in 63 years.
If they are ever going to make a move, now might be their best chance.
You’d think the last thing the Chinese would want is war.....the impact of South Korea’s economy collapsing will hit China hard. Also China’s borders would be overrun.
China wants stability more than anything, which means keeping the status quo.
If anything, China would love to see North Korea go away, and behind the scenes they may very well support the South, if things should get out of hand. This isn’t 1950.

South Korea, I know you are armed to the teeth, and produce some of the finest fighting men, as we saw in Vietnam when you allied with us. Buy more weapons, because with Obama you are your own.
