Tucker Carlson nailed it this morning on Fox. Sterling already had a bad rep. on race relations. He undoubtedly bought off the local L.A. chapter of the NAACP with a nice check for his phony award to help with his credibility. Will the NAACP return the check? Crickets.
I listened to the tape as released by TMZ. To me it sounds as if the girlfriend was setting him up to say certain things. It makes you wonder why the girl was secretly taping what sounded like a lover’s quarrel.
I wonder how much he paid the NAACP, and whether that donation will be returned.
This should be fun to watch as it plays out. Sterling is a Democrat. The media cannot say he’s some tea party gun glinger. Of course, they can say he is in the evil1% if they want to go there.
I wonder if anybody will wonder why he has such a young girlfriend, and what does he see in her, and also, what does she see in him. I wonder if the fact that the girl is of mixed race ethnicity will be mentioned as they move to denounce Sterling as a racist.
