I remember years ago on Free Republic how some thought Jebbie was the “real” conservative of the Bush family, not GWB, who won two terms. Events of recent years has thrown gasoline on that old argument for Jebbie. My understanding is that it is or was Marvin who was the “real conservative” of the Bush family. But it might be “none of the above”.

None of which is germane to the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens pouring across the border. Does Jeb REALLY think that the illegals being hired by businesses (and those businesses willing to knowingly hire illegals, and thus providing incentive, are just as much part of the issue as government’s failure to secure the border) are primarily folks with trade skills or advanced degrees?

If he were to mean that we allowed a mere 200,000 legal immigrants into the nation annually, then I might listen.
