The secretary of state said that if Israel doesn’t make peace soon, it could become ‘an apartheid state,’ like the old South Africa. Jewish leaders are fuming over the comparison.

It already is an apartheid state. Jews are prohibited from living in Bet Lehem, Chalchul, can’t even enter most of Hebron, whereas Arabs can go most anywhere, so long as they submit to being searched for explosives before crossing over, and build houses most anywhere without a permit, even in the middle of a highway.
