I’m a Realtor and I like what I do. I plan to work well into my 60’s and beyond. I’ve met waaay too many retired guys who are bored stiff and micromanage.

I have to say people that work longer than others or are heavily involved in volunteer work are far more interesting to be around...seems their minds are kept alive and vibrant.....
I see too many "retired" young oldsters who are frankly, quite limited and quite boring...

Scaling back is one thing. Quitting active life and camping the house is another thing entirely. Retirement is unnatural, IMO, barring enfeeblement of mind and body.
