2016 poll: Jeb Bush withers, Rand Paul soars
Tea Party ^ | 04-24-2014 | Breitbart

A new poll shows that only 15 percent of Americans want former Florida Governor Jeb Bush to run for president.

The latest YouGov/Economist poll shows that 47 percent indicated that they did not want Bush to run. Thirty-eight percent indicated that they were not sure.

The poll also shows that both Bush and former Governor Chris Christie get a 49 percent favorability rating among those that identified themselves as Republicans.

Christie, however, is disliked by 37 percent of Republicans, which is a higher unfavorable rating than Jeb Bush – who got 25 percent.

Forty-two percent of respondents who identified themselves as conservatives gave favorable ratings to Christie while 44 percent rated him unfavorably.

For Bush, 38 percent of conservatives rated him unfavorably compared to 33 who thought otherwise.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), however, enjoys much higher numbers than either Bush or Christie.

Sixty-three percent of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Paul, while only 15 percent rate him unfavorably. Sixty-one percent of conservatives polled rated Paul favorably.

when are they going to take a poll if Jeb runs as a Democrat? They should take polls amongst all three of them(Bush/Christie/Clinton),,,I am pretty sure Christie would over take Hillary.

Really? Are you actually saying Democrats would vote for Christie or any Bush over Hillary Clinton?

I like him a lot, but he better start fighting or he will be in trouble. His father never backed down. He’s been playing too many establishment games.

Aside from style, the only difference between Ted Cruz and Rand Paul is on foreign policy. Ted Cruz has not yet opened his eyes to the perils of nation building.

But their current strategies are very different. Paul is communicating to a larger audience: the entire country. His goal is to win the general election.

Cruz, on the other hand, is focused on throwing red meat to the base, again and again. This keeps the base happy but will not carry him very far in the polls. His purpose is to fill in the VP spot. He all but endorsed Rand Paul already. I can post the youtube videos if you want.

Actually, I would love to see more polls taken in vital purple states like Ohio/Florida/Penn. Cruz VS Hillary and Paul VS Hillary. Maybe thats what Hillary is waiting for? then decide?

The elephant in the living room is foreign policy. Rand Paul’s FP views are the mainstream now, especially with younger voters.

Foreign policy is the real issue that is driving so many college educated, white Americans away from the GOP, not gay marriage or gun control or most ridiculously, opposition to amnesty.

But Paul is showing signs of playing footsie with the NWO.
Not good. AT LEAST RON PAUL NEVER NEGOTIATED WITH THE NWO AND WENT AFTER THEM.

Not me. At this point our best hope is some kind of uprising. Rand Paul as president will make that less likely, but our liberty will continue to die.

Remember McCain. Media reports said that his campaign was dead. All his campaign staff had quit. He was broke.

TPTB wanted him as candidate and they got him.

Rand Paul’s endorsement of Mitch McConnell in this year’s Senate Race and his anti-Israel statements have done it for me. I would not vote for him if he was the only one on the ballot.

No more Senators, Clintons, Bushes, or Obamas. We need two solid governors with strong credentials and proven successes. They’ll not be lily-white perfect conservatives (those only exist on FR), but they’ll whip any Dem and put the country back on course. After 16 years, 8 for the Pres. and a follow up 8 for the VP as Pres, along with control of the Congress things should be looking quite rosy.
