MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK) - Jahmel Binion of Madison Heights, Mich. has the rare disorder ectodermal dysplasia, a condition characterized by a reduced ability to sweat, missing teeth and abnormal hair growth.

He tells FOX 2's Randy Wimbley he's been getting teased his whole life, but never thought he'd be bullied by celebrities after posting a "selfie" on social media.

He says people began recognizing him from a picture on Shaquille O'Neal's Instagram account. Former University of Michigan athlete Trey Burke and rapper Waka Flocka Flame are also said to have also joined in on the teasing.

The photo on Shaq's Instagram has been taken down.

Let’s see if I get this straight:

Black NBA players make public ridicule of a person with disabilities

But get all bent out of shape when a white guy’s private views on race are baited and surreptitiously made public

Let’s see if this gets any reaction... just as nasty, in my opinion, as Sterling’s comments, if not more so...

“after posting a “selfie” on social media.”

If you are narcissistic enough to post a “selfie” on social media, get ready to accept the heat, disable or extremely able.

In the complaint, Rochelle Sterling accuses Stiviano of being a woman who targets extremely wealthy older men. The suit claims that Donald Sterling used the couple’s money to buy Stiviano a Ferrari, two Bentleys, and a Range Rover and that Stiviano took possession of a $1.8 million duplex through fraud. Sterling also gave her nearly $250,000 in cash, the court document says.

These deviate trailer trash dirt bags with money, have way, way too much money...

Are “selfies” always about selfishness, or are they a means to introduce oneself?

That's exactly what I was thinking.

But I thought Yao Ming hand it right back at him.

More like friends trash talking each other

Shaq sees a picture on the internet, and he is then supposed to have psychic powers to know that the guy in the picture has a condition that nobody has ever heard of before. Since Shaq is not the Amazing Kreskin, he has no reason to apologize to anyone. My suggestion is, if you have something wrong with yourself, either include at least a caption explaining your condition, or do not put your picture in a place the whole world can see.

My suggestion is that one should refrain from making impolite remarks about anyone's appearance. What if this "Shaq" person had encountered this unfortunate individual on the street? Should such afflicted individuals perhaps wear a sign around their necks, explaining to the world their condition? And if not: Why then would it be appropriate to mock his appearance on the Internet? How is that any different?

Regards,

Some people feel the urgent need to expose themselves publicly.

So what you're saying that is if the "condition" doesn't have a (known) name, it is alright to mock people. How ‘bout “unattractive”...is it OK in your book to mock and denigrate them.

Should they be condemned to live in shame and not post pictures of themselves???

You sound like a Liberal.

Selfies carry a pretty strange set of psychological problems besides just being narcissistic!
