MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK) - Jahmel Binion of Madison Heights, Mich. has the rare disorder ectodermal dysplasia, a condition characterized by a reduced ability to sweat, missing teeth and abnormal hair growth.
He tells FOX 2's Randy Wimbley he's been getting teased his whole life, but never thought he'd be bullied by celebrities after posting a "selfie" on social media.
He says people began recognizing him from a picture on Shaquille O'Neal's Instagram account. Former University of Michigan athlete Trey Burke and rapper Waka Flocka Flame are also said to have also joined in on the teasing.
The photo on Shaq's Instagram has been taken down.

Ok, I’ll be honest I laughed at Shaq making funny faces. No, I don’t feel guilty about it. Nobody forced that young man to put his face in our faces. You lose victim points when you volunteer to show yourself up close and personal. If your easily broken down emotionally, then stay off the public stage. Shaq didn’t go looking for you.
How about that...Shaq channeled his butt ugly insides to his face.
What I find interesting if not disheartening are the number of people blaming J. Binion for posting the photo in the first place rather than voicing disgust by the behavior of a celebrity athlete. Shaq’s conduct was adolescent and asinine.
Everyone should understand that regardless of your stature in life, your appearance, your profession, gender or your ethnicity-if you post a photo on the internet you may be subject to public ridicule. Not everyone, and especially celebrities, are decent people. This incident was a hard lesson learned for Mr. Binion.
What’s a CNN?
“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” comes to mind.
Doesn’t surprise me about ‘Shag’. My daughter worked for a time at one of Magic’s 24Hour Fitness places and on occasion Shag would come in. She remembers him as one of the biggest POS to grace the gym. He was so low that he would swipe towels which the employees had to monetarily compensate the gym for. She loved John Salley who frequented the same gym.
I took an accidental selfie of my knee once. This is the first time I’ve ever admitted it. Coming clean doesn’t diminish the shame.
I have the condidtion you think is so funny.
I believe I shall eat your children for dinner.
The hills do have eyes.
Shaq is a big kid. It’s sort of like Don Sterling being a loser. Did anybody not know this already?
Hi, you used to live in West LA near me. I’d see you in the gym and at the Nuart! I hope life has been kind to you since!
Michael Berryman is a great cult b horror movie actor with this condition. Then again, I like b horroor so I know the condition because of that. But I think we all need to pillory the rich and famous for nonsense as they love todo of us.
So Shaq somehow KNEW the guy did NOT have this a birth defect/condition? Or it never crossed his mind that it wasn’t a guy just making a funny face? Plus, the guy should hide his face from the public, cyber and otherwise, since he looks so grotesque?
Uh huhhhh..
For those of you who condemning this guy for taking the selfie, I would offer that he probably has some mental issues and does not understand the ramifications of putting his picture out there.
Yup.
My opinion: leave people alone. All of this is ridiculous. The nation is swirling down the commode of economic and moral ruin, while the "news" industry focuses on a billionaire loudmouth who is a jerk...while ignoring the infantile antics of a millionaire former athlete.
All so pointless.
I’m still waiting for the media or someone representing the current administration to condemn the “kill cracker” rants of Malik Shabazz.
Oh well, why should anyone expect anything racially constructive to come out of the Negro Nazi Party and it’s propaganda ministry.
“If you are narcissistic (sic) enough to post a “scripture” on social media, get ready to accept the heat, disable or extremely able. That’s exactly what I was thinking.” Just thinking about the Psalms in general to making fun of people.
King Obongo sets the standard on how to react to people with disabilities...

Which one is Shack?
Two points.
You post “selfie” on Facebook you can bet 100% that someone will say something nasty..
Because someone is a known sports figure doesn’t mean they are not jerks......
