Roughly 50 Rutgers University students staged a sit-in at a school administration building in New Brunswick on Monday to protest the school's decision to invite Condoleezza Rice to speak at the university's commencement next month.

Some students held up signs reading, "No honors for war criminals," "War criminals out" and "RU 4 Humanity?" the report said.

The sit-in was one of the largest in Rutgers' history, according to The Daily Targum, a student newspaper. Police reportedly responded to the site of the protest after a glass door was broken and a student cut their hand.

Those Rutgers students only hate INTELLIGENT AFRICAN-AMERICANS... Appears the KLU KLUX KLAN is alive and well in New Jersey...

Note that the PARTY of SEGREGATION after the CIVIL WAR WAS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY (Or "DEMON RAT" Party)...

They should have been standing and wearing white robes.

Also, they should have had a burning cross since they hate Christians...

Not good. Opens the door for totally controlling speech. Who decides what is hate? Religious speech will be condemned as offensive and hateful .. that is already happening in schools, TV programing and some radio stations. The message becomes edited and may even come with fines or other punishment.

BE VERY CAREFUL OF THE RAMINICATIONS OF ANY RULES, LAWS AND THE POWER OF THOSE CONTROLLING THE PRESS. We learn too low and almost do not see the dangers of political correctness. MOO

Hey usafa92, you write like you went to Rutgers. Read your first sentence. Do you know that “you’re” is a contraction for “you are?” Probably not. And by the way, Rutgers is INDEED the safety school among the highly intelligent families I ride with. Rutgers, Rider, Rowan, Ramapo. The four dopey schools of New Jersey. And Rutgers is THE worst of the bunch. Unless your kids like bouncing from class to class on springless buses as an extra-curricular activity. (If they actually go to classes...) There’s a reason going to Rutgers is called the “RU Screw.”
