I get the 13%, sure, guaranteed that even if he rounded up white people for the extermination camps, they'd approve. Hell, they'd applaud!
But what about the other 28%!!!! Things are miserable in the US and trending sharply down. Don't these people care?

Its still trending down because of the Bush policies. They’ll all tell you that Obama is making it better, but Bush had it so screwed up it is taking this long. That’s what they think.

What exactly is the Republican platform for the 2014 elections?
1) For or against immigration reform and amnesty?
2) For or against repeal of the ACA?
3) For or against traditional marriage?
4) For or against missile defense and hardening the grid against EMP?
5) For or against unlimited, federally funded, abortion?
6) For or against euthanasia for the elderly?
7) For or against forgiving student loans?
8) For or against “free trade”.
9) For or against voter ID?
10) For or against the work requirement for welfare?
11) For or against government funding student loans?
12) For or against Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?
13) For or against Federal Reserve money printing?
14) For or against government bailouts of “too big to fail” banks?
15) For or against scaling back bureaucratic regulation?
16) For or against fossil fuel drilling and extraction on public land?
17) For or against common core standards for education?
18) For or against corporate welfare - agriculture subsidies, import/export bank, special tax incentives and credits?
19) For or against reduction in marginal tax rates for the middle class?
20) For or against killing American citizens without due process of law (i.e. a public trial as required by the Constitution).
21) For or against the use of drones over domestic airspace?
22) For or against NSA spying on individual citizens?
Listening to the GOP establishment and conservatives on the issues listed above, I do not perceive the party has a unified position on any of them.
How can a party with no core beliefs and without a unified position on the key issues facing the nation expect to win, much less govern?
I honestly do not know what it is going to take.
It will take the actual crackdown, including the massive bloodshed, which is about one or two years away.
This is the largest betrayal of an elected political body towards their citizens, probably, in history.
