The increasing rift between Latino and Asian Democrats over Latinos’ newly revived interest in gutting Proposition 209 took a funny twist in the Sacramento Bee. So much for the Rainbow Coalition — it turns out that one lawmaker thinks Asian-Americans are no longer “of color”:

Luis Alejo is my state assemblyman. His previous accomplishment has been giving driver's licenses to illegal aliens. He was the founding member of the local Brown Berets chapter, once was mayor of the City of Watsonville and his wife is the current mayor. A true raced based political cartel.

Asians were kick-out of the grievance club long ago. Reverse discrimination for ASIANS at California admittance has been going on for a while. I had a friend who adopted an ASIAN baby and graduated high honors in HS. They were told that being ASIAN worked against her for Standford. I asked that since she had an “anglo” name how would they know? Answer, they investigate you and even social media to find out if you are Asian....
