What if Washington politics were no longer defined by partisan gridlock but instead by a cross-party alliance that forged solutions? The alliance would be unstoppable.

- snip -

Nader wants Obama impeached for violating the Constitution. It's nice to hear that call coming from the left. He also makes a point or two regarding our current elitist political system.

But the rest of his ideas are typical crazy Ralph stuff. For example, he thinks Oprah Winfrey ought to run for president.

Rand Paul, one of the most conservative members by voting record in the U.S. Senate, is like Ralph Nader.

I hope you don’t expect to make such comments and have others think of you as intelligent.

The progression:

1.) Nader says the aforementioned

2.) Nader is ridiculed for saying this.

3.) Libertarian-leaning conservatives are ridiculed because of Naders comments.

The intended result of using Nader as a straw man for the intended effect.

RINOS say that we must not go with a libertarian-leaning conservative or even a straight-line conservative and use Nader as the reason, and say that we must go with another Ford, Dole, McCain, Romney...and we then lose again.

When debating on Fox News next to Hannity, Alan Colmes basically used the line against conservatives whom he was debating them: Such and such Republican doesn't agree with you, such and such on your side said this...

RINOS will use Nader's words to try and divide conservatives and libertarian-leaning conservatives.

RINOS will use Nader's words to try and divide conservatives and libertarian-leaning conservatives.

That's an interesting point. Of course, RINOS will use just about anything to divide conservatives. And the sad thing is that they are usually successful.

Exactly correct, right now the political class is waging total war on small government, constitutional conservatives.

A presidential impeachment in exchange for legalizing weed? That’s a bargain I’d seriously consider.

And they’re all wrong.

https://news.yahoo.com/blogs/the-ticket/why-rand-paul-voted-confirm-chuck-hagel-defense-232124614—politics.html

“Sen. Paul voted in favor of Sen. John Kerry, with whom he largely disagrees on foreign policy, to serve as secretary of state, and that is why he voted for final passage of the nomination of Sen. Hagel this evening, with whom he also disagrees on a number of issues.”

” I could live with Conservative Democrats- Kennedy was one”

I could live with trading every statist control freak liberal with 3, mind you THREE small government dope loving hippie liber-tard-tarians.

Because they would not be constantly asking for giant government tools to be handed over to the statists...

That and once they have the dope they want, they are more likely to be placated than a power hungry control freakazoid who has insatiable hunger for controlling other people’s lives.

Nader is a fraud. He wants the government to seize more power than it already has. He is another one of those progressives that want Obama impeached because Obama hasn’t seized enough control over US citizens.

Are you sure Nader said Oprah should run FOR president? Are you sure he didn’t tell her to run FROM the president?

And they’re all wrong

They are not wrong, that is why Heritage gave him a 97%; the others did not see this as non-conservative since it was not a vote on legislation, per se. In fact, only one senator voted no on Kerry, Ted Cruz, so I guess he is the ONLY conservative, right? Mike Lee and every other senator who ALL have MUCH lower conservative ratings than Paul also voted to confirm, so clearly they are not worthy as candidates either.
