I have no problems with as painful an execution as is possible. I do not see the “fairness” in providing comfort to someone who took it painfully from innocent life.
The same thing, three-fold worse, should be done to the guilty as they did to the innocent. It's biblical and would help family members of the deceased live, vindicated.
