people sometimes “retire” because they have lost their jobs....try getting a job at 55 on up...if you get to 62, you “retire” whether you want to or not because you have to live...

It is better financially if you retire at 62 for you can still work part-time, which you will make far more money then what they say you’ll gain by waiting.

Your hours will be limited until you reach 65, but after you can work full time and still collect your social security.

I’ve talked with folks who have done this...after 65 they took other full-time work that required less stress and strain yet they are making plenty to more than live or get by on.

The key, I think, is to stay healthy enough to work the rest of your life.... interesting is God never says a thing about us retiring from work.

It's possible...you need to “re-invent yourself” and find a niche market with demand....I am 72 and now drive a tanker truck.
