There ought to be a law prohibiting Massachusetts politicians from writing books that few people actually read, especially when they write them on company time.
Nevertheless, the politicians still make money on these quickie books, thanks to outrageous advances from publishers.
U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, now being feted by crazed liberals as the possible next president of the United States, is only the latest example of a politician seeking to cash in on her newfound fame.
Gov. Deval Patrick did it, getting a $1.3 million advance for his book. Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown followed suit with a book of his own. He got an advance of $700,000

She would give Hillary! real problems in a primary...Warren may be a leftist tool, but have you checked out who votes in a Democratic primary? Answer: Leftist tools. Even if Hillary! wins the primary: 1) she will have to spend money win, 2) Will be attacked by a Leftist icon, supressing the Leftist tool vote in the general, and 3) actually have to focus on winning the primary rather than spending all her time blaming Bush for Obama’s failures...
Well, if you can believe some of what we hear, there is a core group of liberals who do not like the Clintons. To them, Hillary is not liberal enough. Many of these radical liberal types love Elizabeth Warren. I’m not sure why, don’t know what Warren has done in her career to be a liberal darling, or what she has done to qualify her to be president.
