A Dover middle school English teacher is charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old male student.
Stephanie Seabury, 22, turned herself into police on Monday. She taught English at Fred Fifer III Middle School in Camden, Kent County.
“We were able to find out that the teacher as well as the student were exchanging explicit text messages, as well as photographs, between each other throughout the month of February,” Corporal Mark Hoffman of the Dover Police Department said.
Police say beginning in February Seabury had sex with the student on more than one occasion at her home.

I don't know about that. Nowadays we have a lot more "progressive" people, which means more of the "anything goes" type of thinking.

Not a psychologist or a religious scholar, but I suspect it has something to do with getting some demonic enjoyment out of destroying the child’s innocence.
Once again an “educator” proves that sending your child to public school increases the possibility of child abuse significantly.
No, it seems that this sort of thing is happening much more than it once did. Our society has just become more accepting of aberrant behavior, so perverts like this feel free to give in to their desires.
Case in point, when I was a teenager, most of us girls were very concerned with saving ourselves for marriage. There were a few girls who were not so guarded with their favors, but they were a very small number and not regarded well by the other girls or by most of the boys.
Today, those numbers are different. It has become acceptable among many for girls to sleep around, and those who do not make up the minority.

Oh, and, of course, that is the important point here. It matters little that a boy was robbed of his childhood.
We had a kid when I was in 7th grade that was a fully grown man at 6ft tall, 210lbs. He looked like a frickin cave man compared to the rest of us.
The down side for him was he was completely bald and looked a 60 year old dude when he reached his 30’s

Remember too, this teacher is only 22. Due to the sexual revolution and related changes in society, this girl grew up in a culture in which we don’t have any boundaries on sexual behavior.
Years ago, there was at least some semblance of sex outside marriage being verboten. But today, critical masses of people, the media, Hollywood,etc. push the notion that it is ok to have sex anytime, any number of partners, any gender of partners, and even any age of partners.
At 13, I would have hit that.
