Obama visited the State Department at 10:50 AM on 9/12 after giving a press statement in the Rose Garden about the 9/11 attack (10:35 AM 9/12).

He left for Vegas later that day.

I believe the following days he had a fundraiser in Las Vegas and an appearance on David Letterman.

From memory, so hopefully I remember correctly!
