That was my theory from the start too..because remember before all this happened there were rumors about Obama possibly handing over the Blind Sheikh and the State Department was asked about it and they denied it..I always believed that was the motive for what happened in Benghazi, it was going to be a Stevens for Blind Sheikh swap..in some weird way if that went down I guess Obama would have thought himself to be a hero who saved an Ambassador’s life and he would win a 2nd term..but his plans were derailed when the other three brave Americans showed up to help, Obama and his cronies were NOT expecting that so I think at some point Obama said “F it let them all die” that is what I believe happened and I have always believed that
The video cover-up story was so tattered and frayed that it had to be composed on the fly. And they stayed with it for so long, even after it had collapsed of its own inanity, that they had to be covering-up something serious that would deeply harm the administration.
Running guns to Syria was certainly a part of what was going on -- but it wasn't enough to warrant such a transparently desperate cover-up. All that was needed to defuse a gunrunning venture was to mutter "Iran-Contra".
As you, I'm convinced the real crime being covered-up was an Ambassador for Blind Sheikh deal -- made behind the scenes by Obama and Egyptian Prez Muhammad Morsi.
