Huh?

From what I read, the Unions and the people wanted a parade, not Putin, he hasn't had one in 30 years. For all I know he may not even attend.

Are you trying to tell me that big crowd in Moscow waving flags are die hard communists? They are not waving the hammer and cycle. They are waving their new Russian democratic flag.

By the way, every year in Ukraine, for many years they have a violent laded parade honoring Ukrainians who joined Hitlers' storm troopers in fighting against the Soviets and killing Jews. The US and Soviets defeated them once, and it seems like Russia a lone will have to do again.

I don't know why we and the EU enabled those fascists in Kiev.

Sadly, with all the programed haters around, the truth is being ignored.

They always have been, you idiot

And that's a good thing, because Putins' democratic government is the only thing, besides the Pope, that stands between us and sharia law, unlimited abortion, homo promotion , Christian annihilation, etc, etc.

What ever happened prior to 1990 is way in the past. We are now 30 years into the future.

Obama to the left of me, Putin to the right of me. I don't call people idiots.

I was calling the NATO General idiot, that is very clear as I didn’t address anybody else.

But your are incorrect, Russia is not a democratic government in any sense of the word. Get back to me on Putin’s 2024 re-election.

Having elections does not make one democratic. It is only democratic for Putin’s cronies who get all of the contracts and plush jobs. People are arrested for reporting anything negative on Putin.

Putins' '2024' re election?

Are you telling me, Putin with a 70% approval, wouldn't win reelection if held today? He had about the same when he did win it.

“Are you telling me, Putin with a 70% approval, wouldn’t win reelection if held today? He had about the same when he did win it.”

When you control the media, and arrest journalists who dare say negative things about you....and pay off cronies with hue contracts...hell yah, he could win election...again and again and again...as he has.

“And that’s a good thing, because Putins’ democratic government is the only thing, besides the Pope, that stands between us and sharia law, unlimited abortion, homo promotion , Christian annihilation, etc, etc.”

That’s such an unbelievably asinine statement for a freeper to make. First of all, Russia is 6.5% muslim, compared to .6% in the US and the Russian government has been actively supporting Iran, Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah and many of the radical Islamist elements that we’ve been contesting internationally. The man is an atheist former KGB operative, not a righteous Christian soldier, and he oversees a shrinking country with some of the laxest abortion laws on earth that actually manages more abortions per year than the US despite having 40% of the population. It’s hard for me to believe there are people delusional enough to see Putin’s Russia as some sort of mythical society where abortion and Islam are banned, homosexuals are suppressed and Christianity is ascendant.

Members of Russia's Communist party carry banners and flags, including the flag of the self-declared "People's Republic of Donetsk" (C), during a May Day rally in Moscow May 1, 2014.

It's not mythical society, it's real. So with 6.5 percent, they are being terrorized and doing their best to contain it. They trade with Iran but IMO don't want them to have a bomb. Obama is banking on this and they rely on Putins' help, hence the caution of Obama in dealing with Putin, to his credit.

Supporting an elected brutal Assad in a religious war with the brotherhood Christian butchers is the best option. Russia does not IMO support Hamas with funds as we do, or Hezbollah.

They supported us going into Afghan. Lybia was a blunder. Now they are run by radicals.

You call him an atheist, he says he's not, wears a cross and goes to Church on occasion. Who are you to judge? Why join the hate mob.

The 'laxest' abortion laws are a result of a culture in depression for years. Putin bully pulpits for more religion, families, and babies. Obama does the opposite.

Putin said that we in America are descendant because we promote equating good and evil. But he said that Russian knows the difference. Quite profound I'd say, couldn't argue with that, could you?

“They trade with Iran but IMO don’t want them to have a bomb.”

You couldn’t be more wrong. Russia has given Iran nuclear capability, which is being weaponized as we speak.

“Russia does not IMO support Hamas with funds as we do, or Hezbollah.”

Again, completely incorrect. Russia has funded both Hezbollah (Iran’s proxy run group) and Hamaas, continually and intensively.

Gosh. Next thing we’ll be discovering that China is an adversary, and so is Iran. The world is not all pink and fuzzy and friendly? Reagan said the cold war was over, but people still don’t love each other. He lied!/sarc
