I've heard as late as late June for the upper reaches of Superior. The southern reaches of lake Huron and the St. Clair river are a parking lot right now. Ice is out of the lower reaches of Huron and Michigan, but the straits of Mackinac on up are still filled with ice. Superior at last count was 68% ice covered.
