Besides Lady Gaga is soooo yesterday in subversive agitation propaganda, quickly moving to “has been” status. Doesn’t he know the mantle has moved to Miley Cyrus...???
Remember what happened when Cher mildly criticized Cyrus? She got with the program and apologized right quick. Miley Cyrus is now the vandguard of subversion, in a few years she will have served her purpose and she’ll then quickly become a has been too.

Dear Bishop Scharfenberger:
No doubt you have heard about the “Year of Lady Gaga” at St. Mary’s in Amsterdam.
You are being probed and tested by the Lavender Mafia. If you respond as most bishops do, your term as bishop of Albany will be, at best, a waste of time. Or, it may be a time of ever-accelerating rot and corruption like the reign of Howard Hubbard and so many other “Jadot bishops.”

Love her or hate her, Lady Gaga's fame and fortune is a result of nobody except herself. She wasn't focus-grouped. There isn't some behind the scenes Svengali pulling her strings.
She started out in the clubs, wrote her own music (and plays a beautiful piano), self-promoted herself and clawed her way up to the big time. That she doesn't have fashion-model good looks makes her success all the more impressive in this day and age.

How nice. Except that's not what he wrote. There was someone else he had in mind to honor besides the Virgin Mary. "In September at the opening Mass I officially announced that this was going to be the Year of Lady Gaga at SMI." That's what he proclaimed. Apparently during mass, too.
