One of obammy’s larger donors controls many of the nations rail lines.
Put in Keystone it robs his buddy of money spent on those rail routes.
I don’t buy that argument about Buffet.
Coal trains bring in about $100k profit after everything is paid for and Obama is killing the coal industry.
If Buffet was trying make some money and had the ability to influence Obama he would be running more coal trains not less coal trains as we run now compared to a year ago.
There is profit in any way you move the commodities, so if the pipeline was built, it can only handle so much, there would still be profit in running oil by rail and it would still be running by rail.
By the way that graphic at the top of this thread is a bit off. Try 10,000 ton trains. 100 tons an average for a single loaded car. 100+ cars in a oil or coal train, you get over 10,000 tons.
