We need to elect principled people. If there is a principled Repub on the ballot, I’m fine with voting for them. History has shown what happens when people vote GOP ‘just cuz’. We are living the result. We just had an election full of ‘just cuz’ and lost spectacularly. Then the rest ran left and now push Amnesty, moderation and gave up on Obamacare.

No more. If people keep going for wins regardless of principle, they are as much the enemy as a DU Democrat and should be identified as such.

That’s a lovely idea, but we have to work with what we’ve got now. We can’t wait until we have only “principled people,” mostly because that’s never going to happen.

Politicians act on the basis of self-interest, even those who were originally principled when they got elected the first time. So we have to make it in their interest to do the right thing now.

Just writing it all off and saying you’re waiting for the perfect candidate sure doesn’t help our current situation. And we don’t have the luxury of wasting time.
