How about hitting them where it hurts the most: Their profits.

A company's "profits", i.e. its net income, is unaffected by whether activists choose to sell their shares or not.

Net income comes from the revenues it makes from selling its products, not from the price of its shares.

I'm glad the enemy is stupid.

If for some reason the liberals manage to sell off enough stocks to negatively affect the price (doubtful as it will be done a few shares at a time), the rest of the market will snap them up and eagerly await dividends from the next profit cycle. Sturm Ruger has been working full out for years trying to meet demand.

Exactly... it seems they don’t understand that the market clears, so when they sell their shares, someone else has to buy those shares.

They are effectively punishing themselves by not participating in the profits of the gun industry and transferring those profits to pro gun people (who might use that money to join the NRA). I love their plan...
