With all the problems Sterling has had in the past with equal housing laws, what did they think he was really like?

As long as Sterling contributed money to the right causes and didn't fly to high above the radar, he was alright. But as soon as some of his private (and possibly illegal) utterances became public, then he was radioactive.

But the problem with getting rid of Sterling the way they did, they left themselves open for possible countersuits and a bunch of crusading petty fascists who will leave no stone unturned to turn up more "bigots" to depose. Hopefully, it will be a number of the hypocrites who jumped up and down with joy when Sterling went down.
