I can’t fathom it at all.
I never went to camp as a child. My family always vacationed together, even though I had FIVE younger siblings. My Dad, who was not only a WW2 & Korea Navy Vet, but also had been a Gloucester Commercial Fisherman, Taught us how to swim, canoe, row, sail, water-ski, dive, build a fire, and all the other cool stuff you learn in camp. But we did it as a family.
