Often we ‘joke’ here about liberals not seeing cause and effect. We’d say something like this when imitating a liberal: “Despite the crime rate being way down, more people than ever are locked up in jail.”

Then we’d giggle, knowing they can’t be that stupid.

Then you read this from the piece:
