Radio: Tues. May 6 John Boehner faces Primary Challenger JD Winteregg
American Uncensored News Network ^ | May 4, 2014 | Conservative Commandos Radio Show

Will Republican leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives rush through AMNESTY as soon as John Boehner gets past the danger of a Republican primary this Tuesday, May 6, 2014?

John Boehner will face challenger JD Winteregg in the Ohio Republican Primary for re-election to Ohio’s 8th Congressional District (in Western Ohio).

Challenger Winteregg discussed his campaign against Boehner on the Conservative Commandos Radio Show on Friday, May 2. He explained his “B.E.S.T.” immigration reform plan– without amnesty.

Winteregg says in the interview that Boehnder talks conservative but never does anything to advance conservative policies, Boehner has changed over the 23 years he has been in Congress, Boehner is hiding from the voters of Ohio’s 8th Congressional District while Winteregg says he has knocked on 20,000 doors and talked to 10,000 voters in other forums, and having John Boehner represent Ohio’s 8th Congressional District is just like having a Democrat in the office. Note that in 2010, major radio talk show hosts played a major role in tea party challengers winning primary elections against Republican incumbents. Rush Limbaugh spent 3 hours talking about Christine O’Donnell while the polls were open in Delaware on September 14, 2010. Rush Limbaugh reminded every conservative in Delaware to vote against Mike Castle and every conservative nationwide to remind anyone they knew inside Delaware to vote.

By contrast, in 2012 and so far this year in 2014, major radio talk show hosts have left the playing field and are sitting on the sidelines. The failure of big talk radio conservatives to join the fight against the GOP establishment in 2012 and 2014 is one of the reasons that the dramatic tea party upsets of 2010 were not repeated in 2012 and 2014. (In 2012 of course leading figures focused on the Presidential race, but largely ignored down ballot struggles.)

This putz made a cameo in the “Bash the Right” WH Correspondence Dinner skit video, last night. He proved, once again, that he is compromised and has absolutely NO business whatsoever being Speaker.

Ohio.....Fire Bonehead. Go JD!

If the conservative voters in Boehner’s district vote for the Democrat opponent in the November election, We will have a chance of getting rid of Boehner. It will also work for Cantor. The Republicans can afford to lose a couple of House seats since they will still have the majority. If this works, it will send a message to the other Rhinos that their job is not as secure as they might think.

I agree with strategy also. Assuming the Bonehead wins in the primary, true conservatives in his district should send him packing in November. Send a message Ohio!

Intriguing ideas. I am not sure who would organize that or how without losing their place in the GOP establishment.

I agree with that strategy. Target select districts and senate races, and say NO we won't support those that advance the Democrat agenda through their words and deeds, and who only pretend to be on our side. Those Republicans are more damaging and dangerous than Democrats to conservatism. They are why in spite of conservatives having the numbers these past 34 years to turn this country around, we have become far more socialist, progressive and degenerate.

I say take the pledge that in KY conservatives won't vote for McConnell. Send him to defeat. Or better, run a third party conservative against him that ensures his defeat. Let's see how many votes the guy gets. In the House districts of Boehner and Cantor, refuse to vote for them. Why? Because they threaten and cajole the caucus enough to keep themselves in power. Deny them the power by force of conservative votes, and other RINOs in red states and districts will fall in line.

I don't mind a RINO so much in a liberal state. I can tolerate that, although I would prefer a Scott Walker. Coalitions have to be made in politics, no one denies that. What I dispute is whether conservatism is better off with RINOs getting a death grip on seats in solid Republican states. McConnell elected and running the Senate will mean 4 years of frustration. There is a groundswell coming, and I believe we will get the Senate without him. Even if I am wrong, please explain to me what McConnell will do in Obama's two remaining years that would be different than what Harry Reid will do, on the big issues? Will Obamacare be gone? Hell no. Will there even be an effort to defund or delay it? No. Will there be an immigration bill that passes the Senate? Hell yes. Will true conservatives like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz be marginalized, passed over for powerful committee positions and denigrated? Damn straight.

Make examples of McConnell, Boner and Cantor. Maybe Linda Graham, too.

Speaking of Linda, can't someone out him before the primary? You know the Dems will after it, if the race is close. If it's not close, they will just continue to blackmail him in DC.

Rant over. I fully expect the Rino-enablers to come on here and go ballistic at the suggestion that we not elect any Republican who gets the nomination no matter what. Bash away.

In Ohio’s 8th Congressional District, Constitution Party candidate James Condit is also on the November ballot.

"Major radio talk show hosts have left the playing field and are sitting on the side lines. The failure of big talk radio conservatives to join the fight against the GOP establishment......."

Eggs-actly. This article is spot on.

On the daily Limbaugh thread this past week, I posted about Rush's Rip Van Winkle shows lately (he's broadcasting primarily non-cutting-edge, stale, boring, hashed and re-hashed fluff, hasn't even mentioned Bundy at all, hardly mentions Ukraine, Tea Party, Benghazi, etc.)....and boy, the name-calling, accusations and booing started raining upon my fevered brow.

You'd think that I haven't been a staunch listener for 23 years....and that the Big Guy is my mentor and like a family member coming into my home.

Sometimes the truth hurts, I guess.

At any rate, we could be stark dead in the water come November if the conservative talk-radio hosts remain comatose.

Were I in that district, I would vote for someone other than Boehner or, if there was no one I could support, I wouldn’t cast a vote. Force a vote for a new speaker.
