Yes, they were a good artist. I can’t quite read the writing but am basically sure it is the Roer River because I think that is the only place where one of their bridges was destroyed by the Germans.
I was on the phone for nearly 2 hours with an old friend of nearly 50 years but had the computer on beside my bed. I had already copied the pic but didn’t get a chance to identify it until now.
