I quite agree with you. There was a gun-running operation from Libya to Syria.
However, I don't believe the gun-running op was sufficient to justify investing in the specious "the video did it" cover-up. Any partisan accusation about the gun-running op could've been effectively deflected with two words: Iran-Contra.
