Honestly. Is law enforcement in FL no match for a homeless squatter? Deport him to some God-forsaken country and let him try squatting there.

I don’t understand this it all. Suppose my car is in my driveway. And I see a stranger is sitting in my car. If I call the police, they will certainly come and pull the stranger out of my car.

Yet the cops will not respond to a house break-in?

This is Pasco county we’re talking about. Pasco is the meth capital of west central Florida. The LEOs have their hands full.

The guy is a career criminal. Jump him one night, bag his head and carry him off to never be seen again.

At least they can function on land, unlike sharks.

Why doesnt the legal owner of this house LEGALLY authorize someone to live in it -housesit-till his return? Give them the right to DEFEND the home and shoot dead anyone trying to break in? A relative,a friend, armed would end this once and for all.

Your analogy doesn't match the situation.

You see a stranger sitting in your neighbors car. He claims he has permission to be there.

Are the police still going to pull him out?

Maybe one of the neighbors could arrange a Tar-N-Feathers Taxi for this bum. Including a free trip out of town on a greased rail.
