Eastern Ukraine may fall to the Russians, but hey, at least the Ukrainians will be well fed as they’re waving the surrender flags. Barack Obama will see to that! What they really need is help to save the sovereignty of their nation, but they’re not going to get it from the United States, not when our president is determined to avoide offending Vladimir Putin at all costs. This must be what that vaunted flexibility was all about! But he does have something for them:

When the USSR collapsed and Ukraine be became independent, they should have read a history book and learned about the Russians desire to conquer their neighbors.
Ukraine failed to build up a military capable of fending off the Russians.
It was their failure and I will not spend my tax dollars or my son’s blood to pull them out of the grasp of the Russians.

The MRE’s that you show, you have no idea where they came from and there is no evidence that they came from our recent shipment to the Ukraine.

So instead of Western aid the folks in E. Ukraine have been dreaming of the Chechen terrorist "tourists" that Vova Putin just sent on holiday there?
It was also so kind of Putin to lend them a few thousand unlawful combatants and agents who have bombed, kidnapped and murdered their neighbors.
Why would anybody ever want to lean Western when their friendly Russian neighbors bring such a fun party bag.
