Why imagine it? He has a challenger. People need only get over their fear and vote for that challenger.

A good reason why Boehner went ahead with the Benghazi select committee.

Maybe some independents will join in for a worthy cause.

There is a problem in OH. The early and mail-in voting, even with some reforms, is out of control. It's probable that there are people who've already voted for Boehner, and they might have changed their minds but it's too late to change their vote.

is this a winner take all, or a runoff if no one gets to 50% situation?

His ads on TV around here run back to back to back. He’s really racking up the spending to beat off the tea party.

I’m assuming it’s a runoff at 50% because he has more than one challenger.

I believe there might be a chance. I was in the Northern part of the district a couple of weeks ago, saw several Winteregg signs, no Boehners. Of course Cincinnati is his home so I’m biting my nails over that, higher population vs. farm country.

As soon as the committee and Gowdy were announced I thought, geez Boehners internal poll numbers must be setting off some alarms.
