There has been a left-wing love fest with Cuba going on as a sort of follow up to the death of Gabriel Garcia Marquez, who absolutely adored Castro.
It’s just revolting. I’m glad Rubio continues to speak up on this issue, because the Dems are seriously suggesting Cuba and VZ as a model for the US.
From his days as a candidate for the Senate, he displayed by his words his understanding of the real danger of amnesty and illegal immigration.
Therein lies the problem. He is excellent at appearing to speak from his heart. The only problem is that he lies from his heart in doing so.
I sent automatic monthly contributions to his campaign and also to his PAC, that is until he joined Schmuckie’s Gang of Eight.
Communism vs. Fascism is like coke vs. Pepsi. Slightly different recipe, basically the same beverage.
He’s not too great on immigration but Rubio knows Cuba.
I don’t disagree....They are both dictatorships...thug driven by a personality worshipping populace. Both forms are dangerous to freedom, liberty, and the well being of any one living there.
Both forms use the same techniques to get total control and when you don’t agree they will kill you
You and I do not disagree.... These are in some ways distinctions without a difference. The END of both systems is death of freedom, liberty, and the individual.
Both are dangerous. But there seems to be on FR recently the silly notion join around that Putin (who is first, last, and always KGB) is somehow a nice guy who really isn’t all that bad. I want people to remember the Gulag and Solzhenitsyn and all of those who died at the hands of Putin and his predecessors
The ideology IS totalitarianism, so is Monarchy. Beyond that, the fine details mean nothing.
useful idiot Tom Harkin!
Take that dungheap, sit down and shut up.
Except with Fascism, the means of production are usually still privately owned, at least if you don’t make the wrong person(s) angry.
