Every time I have seen Trey Gowdy, I have been extremely impressed. A former prosecutor, he will definitely ask the right questions. Considering all the lying, cover-your-ass types who will be giving testimony, he may not get to the truth, but I am confident that if anyone can do it, he can.
If he can’t get to the truth, he can still make it evident that the testifiers are hiding the truth.
We KNOW the truth. Will the people accept it after it’s brought out.
Miltie, your question is the only important one that needs answering.
I'm sure all of us, when watching Rep Gowdy, had the thought that HE should be leading the investigation. He isn't distracted by fluff and evasiveness and bores in relentlesly.
A good prosecutor can ask the sort of questions which will ferret out inconsistencies in testimony. It is possible that perjury charges could result. (the truth shall set you free)
