It's frighteningly cynical and scientifically irresponsible to blame forest and brush fires, earthquakes, floods, tornadoes etc. on human-caused atmospheric CO2 when real science shows it's not the cause.

You left out volcanoes. One volcano can change the weather far more than human activity. And there are lots of active volcanoes. So volcanoes are the fault of humans! Real scientists know CO2 levels follow warming, not cause it. The fake science doesn't look at what happened historically for thousands of years on Earth, they just guess about a snippet of time in the last couple decades and still get it wrong! Oh, we need to blame sunspot activity on humans also!

I think it's far more cynical than that. I think they know very well what the real facts are. They also fully understand how much people have been scientifically dumbed-down and politically indoctrinated by what I jokingly call our "educational system." They want power and control in addition to the wealth to be harvested by the sale of phony "carbon credits."

In some twisted fashion they've also deluded themselves into believing they're saving the world. To do so they're operating in true Alinsky mode: that end justifies any lie, perversion of science or injustice. I think they're dumb enough to believe world socialism based on the basically totalitarian EU model will somehow lead to Utopia. They could not be more wrong. It leads to Dystopia.
