Hillary Clinton: Gun culture 'way out of balance'

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton said Tuesday the nation's gun culture has gotten "way out of balance" and the U.S. needs to rein in the notion that "anybody can have a gun, anywhere, anytime."

The former secretary of state and potential 2016 Democratic presidential candidate said the idea that anyone can have a gun is not in the "best interest of the vast majority of people." But she said that approach does not conflict with the rights of people to own firearms.

Clinton waded into the polarizing issue of gun politics during an appearance at the National Council for Behavioral Health conference in Oxon Hill, Maryland, pointing to recent shootings that involved teens who had been playing loud music and chewing gum and a separate incident involving the typing of text messages in a movie theater.

"I think again we're way out of balance. I think that we've got to rein in what has become an almost article of faith that anybody can have a gun anywhere, anytime," Clinton said. "And I don't believe that is in the best interest of the vast majority of people. And I think you can say that and still support the right of people to own guns."

Well,I think again we're way out of balance.

I think that we've got to rein in what has become an almost article of faith that anybody can have a Federal Government handout anywhere, anytime,.

And I don't believe that is in the best interest of the vast majority of people. And I think you can say that and still support the right of people.

It's an inalienable right specifically noted in the US Constitution, which is the highest law in the land.

At this point, does that make a difference?

What about the amount of accountability in government officials?

How out of balance is that, Hillary?

Notice the language. She thinks there is a right to “own” guns. Bearing them is another matter, I’d bet.

It's Slick Willie wife that is 'out of balance'. It's the Second Amendment bi*ch!!! Same thing as "a woman's right to chose" except that the right to own a firearm is covered in the Bill of Rights. Your dumbass "right to chose" was pulled out of the ***es of some genocidal, commie lib "judges".

You know what, if all the gun laws on the books today haven’t made us safe, then lets do away with them.

Thanks for owning up to it Hillary!

I think it should be an issue of choice!

Everyone knows choice hurts nobody.

What part of “shall not be infringed” does Hillary not understand?

There is no new law restricting the right to keep and bear arms that could make us safer than we are now. There are a whole lot of laws on the books that could be repealed to make us safer. Technically she’s right that gun laws are out of balance, but that’s only by accident.

And I think you can say that and still support the right of people to own guns.

No, dear, you can't. It's one or the other. Because the minute you think that rights can be limited by government ukase you've crossed the line into tyranny, and that will become a matter that will be settled at whatever level it requires.

Hillary was likely one of the architects of Fast & Furious. I trust her like a snake.

I would thank Hillary for giving us this issue, except that her RINO opponent will probably agree with her.

Hey, WITCH!

What’s out of balance is the industrial-strength militarization of every gubmint agency from local police to state police, all the way to the Feral Gummint alphabet agencies and even the stupid park rangers.

They’re the ones that need to back off.

Until then, we keep arming up, WITCH.

Sir Hillary (and I use the term affectionately) is a wacko. I would like to hear her explanation as to why all the major mass killings the past few years, including Colorado and Ft. Hood were committed by registered DemocRATS. Wouldn’t it be logical to prevent DemocRATS from having firearms considering they are the ones responsible for senseless deaths? The Great OZ has spoken.

This would be a good time, if some interviewer would like to make this sow squeal a bit louder, to ask her if she could cite chapter and verse, in American history, where “anybody can have a gun, anywhere, anytime.”

I agree. So when do we start reining in all these federal agencies?

loud music, chewing gum, theater texting, always innocent people, doing innocent things being gunned down all over by the ‘gun culturalists’ in Everytown, U.S.A.

Here’s an idea..
GO TO A COUNTRY WHERE GUNS ARE BANNED AND TAKE UP PERMANENT RESIDENCE, NO ONE HERE WILL MIND AND MAYBE YOU’LL LIVE LONGER
