A veteran from the great Freeper class of '98, a mainstay and part of the nucleus of our active Florida chapter, a participant of countless FR events and dynamic streetcorner freeps for over fifteen years, an all-around fun guy....and when he would take the mike to sing "Georgia on my Mind" at many of our get-togethers he melted our hearts.
Our hearts are melting here in Florida after learning the sad news. Sympathy to his family and friends.
We'll miss you so much, friend, freeper and patriot.

So sad to learn of Gonzo’s passing. We sure have wonderful memories of Gonzo at our Freeps here in Florida.
He was one of a kind...a great Patriot and so much fun at a Freep!
Rest in Peace, Dear Barry.

Just so very sad to hear about Gonzo’s passing. James and I will miss him as will all Florida Freepers who knew him.
Keeping his family in our prayers.
