I am not construing.

I am only repeating what the North Carolina State Board of Elections has posted on its website for results — that only 14.52% of ballots have been counted as of 10:43 PM.

Now, maybe their results are screwed up on their website.

But they are as official as it gets.

So until they either report more accurately or update information, we should wait until the data is reported more clearly.

It says “cast”, not counted. It represents turnout, I think.

There is no stat labeled “ballots counted” as far as I can see.

there are 6,516,126 registered voters in NC.
about 1/2 million voted in the GOP primary
about 1/2 million voted in the DEM primary

the rest did not participate.
