Science guy Bill Nye faced off against Blaze contributor S.E. Cupp and conservative economist Nick Loris in a heated debate about global warming on CNNs Crossfire Tuesday night after Cupp said the scare tactics used to address the issue have failed to convince the public.
Even if what Van [Jones] and the White House are saying is all true, the scare tactics have not worked, she told Nye. Only about 36 percent of Americans believe that global warming is a serious threat to our way of life.

What an utterly lame segment. Let’s have Professor Linzden from MIT debate these fools.
Absolutely.
And even more so, there is little that we can do to change or alter the weather. "Global Warming," "Climate Change," or any other weather-related phenomena is a hoax, a myth for the government and enviro-activists to control every aspect of our lives.
Is that hyperbole? No. There's nothing that you couldn't say is somehow related to the environment. Where you live, where you work, and what your company does--all related. How you move from A to B, where you shop, and what foods you eat...all related. Insidiously, they could erode your Constitutional rights by setting constraints around with whom you associate, undoubtedly where and how you worship, and certainly what firearms you own or use. In the name of the environment, the government could more easily seize land and property without cause, and States' rights would all be subjugated to the federal government.
So let's say that we all buy into this for a minute, and allow sweeping legislation in order to "control climate change." When does it end? At what point in the future do we say, "yes, our legislation has been a success--the climates have now normalized; let's rescind all the burdensome regulations and taxes!"
This is the Left's grand design. It would allow them to implement Fascist rule, with no checks and balances.
“Science Guy”, as in the Left’s go-to guy with a minimum amount of knowledge to make him sound believable as opposed to the rest of them who know absolutely nothing about the Scientific Method
