This is crazy. So the conservative students could have a table present, but weren’t allowed to have anyone staff the table...at a supposedly Catholic institution. It seems that so many Catholic schools aren’t really interested in following Catholic teachings anymore.

Is anyone else amazed at this?

Less than 20 years ago, Congress passed the Defense of Marriage Act, by overwhelming margins. The definition of marriage was not controversial at all back then.

Nowadays, not only is the definition of marriage controversial, we also have a situation in which the liberals charge you are bigoted, if you support the definition of marriage which was not controversial not too many years ago.

So, we have a situation, in which you can’t even support traditional marriage at a Catholic university. The Catholic Church recognizes only traditional monogamous marriage, but we’re not allowed to talk about that aspect of church doctrine at a church affiliated university.

We live in strange times. Orwell’s 1984 is here.

And not one homily will mention this or anything like it this Sunday or any Sunday. Not one parishioner’s incorrect thoughts, beliefs or opinions will be challenged or corrected this Sunday.
