it would be a bad idea to let people "go to bars with guns, let them go to schools with guns, let them go to church with guns."
As a pastor, I'm thinking that church would be among the safest places for concealed carry holders.

Many of the Pentecostal churches I’m familiar with have all their ushers, deacons and related people armed at all times.

Probably on any given Sunday a dozen or more are armed in my church.
