White House Says No Sign Russia Has Pulled Back From Ukraine Border

(Reuters) - The White House said on Wednesday that it has seen no evidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin has pulled Russian troops back from the Ukrainian border, and said it wants a referendum on secession to be canceled, not merely postponed.

Putin certainly commands more respect, and in the end that is what really matters if you’re a leader. Furthermore, Putin knows that empty words destroy credibility.

I believe he harbors great disdain for Obama. And for good reason.
