Senate Democrats are refusing to let supporters of the Keystone XL oil pipeline to use an energy efficiency bill as a vehicle to attempt winning congressional approval for the controversial project.
Majority Leader Harry Reid used a parliamentary move Wednesday to block a Republican amendment on the pipeline as well as a measure to prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from imposing new greenhouse gas regulations on coal-burning power plants.

I hear the REAL reason Barack Al-Obama is against the Keystone XL pipeline is because he thinks the XL means Xtra Large, as in shirt sizes. Supposedly he is OK with a Keystone Small, or a Medium, and maybe a Keystone L, but he thinks a Keystone XL is just plain excessive. Who knows?

But, then I also heard that in college, he supported a minimum wage that varied according to how many dependents one had. A single guy might earn $10/hr, but a guy doing the same work, with the same skill, would get $2.50 extra for each dependent. So a married guy with 3 kids would get $20/hr to help stop “income inequality.” Who knows? Again, it does sound like some “economics” he would espouse!
Maybe Feudal Lord Reid wants Sissy-Boy Obama to Nationalize all of the Oil and Gas US Pipelines first?
Nationalized Oil and Gas pipelines revenues would buy a lot of Cattle Rustlers for Reid’s BLM Raiders, pay shakedown fines to Algore for the EPA illegal CO2 footprint of Obama’s Corporate Jet, Air Force One, and fully fund all annual bonuses for those public servants who daily break Federal Laws at the IRS.
Ahem!, that's just a tad overt, don't ya think? Perhaps something along the lines of a Pinto with a full tank of gas, or a Corvair, or a vintage Ford Explorer, those are the type of gifts that would keep on giving.
How WILL the Republicans ever afford all of the AIR TIME for explaining to the American people all of the things that Democrats have done to hasten the decline of the quality of their lives....
I guess it will depend on us writing letters to the local papers and talking about these things to any and all who will listen.

Gas prices in my part of the S.F. Bay Area have already exceeded four bucks a gallon.
look for 5 bucks and more by Labor Day
