Because devout Muslims are seen as true to their faith. They have ‘morals’ and discipline.

Add in the public school anti-Christian brainwashing that's been going on for decades and yeah, this is pretty much the reason. Many women see devout Muslim men as the newest version of what was once commonplace in the Western world. The fact that it has a foreign, exotic element probably blinds them to the ugly realities.
You'd think that the occasional televised beheading would be enough to make the ladies wary, but...
I remember in Afghanistan those “devout” muslims. When they could not comprehend why I would not convert and marry 4 women, I told them I serve God, not women.
It shut their yaps real quick.
