I do not know. But,
Darrell Issa @DarrellIssa
Unless President asserts exec privilege, there is no precedent for US Atty for DC to do anything but pursue this criminal case #IRStargeting

The Justice Department will get to it in a couple of years. Maybe.

And if Eric the Hopelessly Partisan refuses to appoint a special counsel, either by neglect or flat out refusal, then what? The louse was already held in contempt by Congress once and nothing whatsoever happened to him.

bi-partisan

Not bloody likely to be reported that way. It will still be a Republican witch hunt. Only Democrats are praised for bi-partisan votes — even when there is only 1 R voting with them.

This is the House select committee which Trey Gowdy will chair. There will be no Senate involvement.

“This is the House select committee which Trey Gowdy will chair. There will be no Senate involvement.”

I think that’s incorrect on the first point. Gowdy will chair the Benghazi special committee investigation I believe. I don’t think either of these involve the Senate. Reid wouldn’t let the Senate touch either of these issues.

LOL! Yeah, I know. But that’s the way the dance is danced. Given just how evil this administration is - and I really do believe that - Holder might well try to manipulate this thing toward damage control. Throw a few little folks to the wolves and circle the wagons around the big ones. You don’t want to be a little fish in that scenario. Lerner and the others have to be sweating bullets - that’s the price you pay for working for an evil bastard. I am so far from sympathy you couldn’t see it from here with the Hubble scope.
